F-35 ALIS SCM Field Support Representative (FSR)

Location: Based in Orlando, FL.



The ideal candidate would be Orlando based, but we can accept someone at one of our key base areas:   Luke (Phoenix), Beaufort SC, Eglin FL, and Hill/Ogden (Salt Lake City). 


Job Description:

The SCM FSR is required to fill the post based on the F-35 Autonomous Logistics Information System (ALIS) Program in Orlando and is responsible for receiving, testing and integrating new or upgraded SCM capability into the ALIS host environment at the Orlando location.  The SCM FSR will then assist in the field deployment and testing of the capability at the end-user bases, which requires up to 50% travel at peak periods.  Following successful deployment of the SCM capability the FSR will provide support to the end-users including resolution and rectification of Supply Chain issues.

Role Duties:

The candidate will be responsible for a number of key activities including the Support to the ALIS SCM Integration, Verification Domain, On-site Warehouse support in CONUS, as well as the provision of key ALIS SCM knowledge to SCM CLS and Service Users.  It is essential that the SCM FSR has recent in-depth knowledge and understanding of the ERP and SCM functions and supporting COTS products used within the DoD Supply Chain Domain.  Act as the SCM Subject Matter Expert at the company location in Orlando with responsibility for receiving, testing and integrating new or upgraded SCM capability into the ALIS host environment at the Orlando location.

Provision of advice to the customer in build of solution to be deployed;

Initial Configuration of the solutions to be deployed;

Population and Maintenance of Base Data for solutions to be deployed;

Provision of initial at-elbow support to Users as the solution is commissioned.

Support to Engineering Reviews as required to provide detailed advice on SCM related SPARs.

Provide advice on the initial load of MPC data for solutions to be deployed;

Provide advice and support in the resolution of data related issues;

Coordinate with the SCM IPT on data related issues.

Assist the Customer in testing SPARs in the company environments.

Phone support;

At-elbow support;

Attendance (on phone) at site meetings;

Impact Assessment to ALIS SCM for proposed business process changes;

Record and Retain of list of queries from the User Base and processing as appropriate;

Creation of an SCM User Forum to share best practice.

Personal Skills:

The role will involve daily interaction with people of a wide range of seniority and technical abilities.  This would include government representatives, members of the armed services, senior analysts, architects and engineers. As such the position requires

Team working.

Required Skills and Education:

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years’ experience in one of the following (or a related subject)

Systems Engineering

Computer Science

Computer Engineering

Aeronautical / Aerospace Engineering

Experience will be required in the software development lifecycle and the following applications and technology areas:

ERP Systems (Supply Chain)

Distributed Systems

Oracle RDBMS




Application Servers


Windows Server 2012


Travel Percentage: 50%

Location: Orlando, FL 32825 – Suitable candidates may locate from Hill AFB, Luke AFB or Yuma MCAS
