Minimum Qualifications

6+ years hands-on aircraft wiring experience

Ability to pass an in-house wiring test

Strong knowledge of wiring practices: routing, terminations, troubleshooting

Preferred

Production/modification environment experience

Able to work independently and within an integrated team

2) Aircraft Structural Technician

Minimum Qualifications

Ability to pass an in-house structures test

Structural installation/repair/build experience

Composites experience welcomed (composite-focused candidates encouraged)

Important Experience Note

Non-military candidates: 10+ years aircraft structural experience preferred

Military (15G) candidates considered only if they also have 10+ years structural experience outside the military

The Procurement/Contracts Clerk (PCC) is responsible for assisting the Procurement and Contracts Manager and Contract Administrator, as required, to ensure that Prime Contract data requirements are submitted in accordance with the contract schedule and contracts records are properly filed. The PCC shall also ensure that copies of letters are filed with the outgoing and incoming correspondence log and perform updates of other records or logs as required.

The PCC shall assist the Administrative Assistants in general administrative duties and act as the primary back up for telephone coverage. Such duties may include mail handling and post office runs, filing, scanning, and picking up, with the company van, visitors and on site vendors who require an escort. Administrative support may also be provided to other BSAS functional areas upon preapproval by the Procurement and Contracts Manager.

The PCC is responsible for small purchases, including GPA’s for office and warehouse supplies, leases and purchase of warehouse equipment, and on-site support services such as lawn care, cleaning and pest control. These purchases are approved by BSAS Management and procure in accordance with BSAS policies and procedures as well as the applicable FARs and DFARs. The PCC shall forward RFQs in response to these requirements, review vendor responses, issue purchase orders and follow-up to ensure on time delivery and compliance with the PO statement of work and terms and conditions.

The PCC shall have the primary responsibility for the scanning and storage of Procurement and Contracts documentation including purchase orders, RFQs, contracts and contract amendments/modifications, proposals, proposal support data and other documentation as defined by BSAS records retention procedures. Some additional individual tasks include maintenance of the letter log, extensive scanning, contract document preparation, small business records , preparation of contract work authorization, preparation and storage of internal contract and procurement documents, and department training records maintenance and storage.
