Funding and Pricing Specialist Position

Our company is looking for an individual that is self-motivated, well organized and detail oriented to fill an open position in our Finance/Accounting Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proposals – This individual will play a key role in the pricing module for proposals. Using Excel, this role will be responsible for compiling and maintaining data such as labor, subcontract quotes, purchased services, G&A rates, etc.... Also, will be required to compose a cost volume write up, explaining the numbers in detail.
TTD – Maintain and monitor travel requests for out customer. Responsible for tracking costs related to travel, sending requests to the customer for approval and segregating costs between Government directed travel and already proposed travel.
Weekly funding report – This role will also compile reports to create a weekly funding report that tracks open commitments, available funding, and invoiced amounts.
Track expiring funds – Quarterly, send communications notifying the appropriate parties of expiring funds.
Support and accounting team throughout the monthly finance close process, as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Be a team contributor and must be able to work independently when needed.
Be proficient in the Microsoft suite, especially Excel.
Understand Government Contracting.
Have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance/business with 5 years’ experience or 10–15-year work experience in a related field.
Understanding of general ERPs - Unanet experience is a plus.
