LEED Corporate Services of Brookfield, CT has an open position for qualified candidates as a Special Repair Activity Technician. The job location is at Fort Campbell, KY in support of Boeing Sikorsky Aircraft Support and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment. Scope: Provide maintenance support for the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Special Operations Aviation peculiar components and electronic Line Replaceable Units (LRU). Maintain peculiar test equipment and tools required to support back shop and other sustainment level repairs. Collect and analyze historical data on avionics components and test equipment. Track system metrics and cost avoidance.
Prepare and maintain records for audit purposes
Interpret manufacturer test manuals, engineering drawings, schematics, and similar documents
Responsible for ensuring all material conforms to established standards and specifications
Specific Skill Requirements:
5 years of electronic repair and troubleshooting experience
Special Operations Aviation experience highly desired
Experience in electronic soldering techniques and cable repair
-Self-motivated with the ability to build relationships within the team dynamic
Detailed oriented, resourceful, and able to work independently with little supervision
Be familiar with the use of common test equipment such as multimeters, waveform generators, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.
Able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
Possess at least a Secret or ability to obtain an Interim Secret Security clearance
Perform Acceptance Test Procedures on mission-essential electronic LRUs
Generate reports and test data as required
